During this one day retreat we will look tools and techniques that doctoral and post doctoral researchers can use to raise awareness of their research. Including how to make a video bio, how to pitch your research, and tools and techniques for conferences (fantastic if you are joining us for the ERA conference).

We will be joined by Rob Glass a television presenter and producer for both the BBC and ITV who has run video training workshops around the world for organisations such as Siemens, Deloitte and Disney and regular Masterclasses for The Guardian. Rob will help you produce your own video bio all about you and your research.
